For so many adventure (ADV) riders out there, we dream about going on that one dream ride. It’s the ride we prepare for months in advance. All of our free time goes in to getting the right mix of parts for our adventure. We make lists of supplies we need, map routes and detours, prepare our motorcycle, and find the right motorcycle gear that will get us through any climate or situation. We think about all the riders who have done such a trip before us, and look to them for advice (and maybe even watch a couple movies). We listen carefully to those with experience so that we can pass on our knowledge to other riders wishing to embark on a similar adventure.
